Who knew my hair was so curly!
I have accepted the Miracle Mission with a special Stand by Me Challenge – shave your head for kids like Seth!
Before 14-year-old Seth was diagnosed with cancer he had beautiful long hair, down past his shoulders. When the doctors told him he had cancer, Seth had one question: “Does this mean my mustache is going to fall off?” he asked them, sporting a thin layer of hair on his upper lip.
Even though he lost his hair (long locks and thin mustache included), he never lost his sense of humour. If you haven't seen Seth's video, I'd encourage you to watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3xHyDeZEyg&feature=youtu.be
Help me raise funds to support health care for kids with serious health issues during COVID-19. Because injury and other illnesses haven`t stopped. Children’s Hospital continues to care for many kids diagnosed with life-threatening and life-limiting diagnoses. The virus has complicated this care.
Families are even more worried for their child’s health and their own livelihoods, while also enduring strict isolation. Will you stand by them with me?
My hair has grown steadily since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis. My awesome barber Dave at Southdale Barbershop will have to fix it when he can reopen and my hair grows back, but once I reach my goal, I will be shaving my head live on Children`s Health Foundation`s Facebook page!
Thank you for your generosity.
