KMs 4 Kids' Cancer

Step up to the challenge for kids with cancer and walk, run or bike as many kilometres as you can!

From September 1 to 30, 2021, we will get moving to ensure kids with cancer receive the best possible care and the best possible chance at returning to a normal childhood.

Children's Health Foundation is challenging you to walk, run or bike the distance patients travel from their hometowns to their appointments at Children’s Hospital in London. You will also be raising important funds that support programs and equipment they rely on!

You'll be tracking your KMs for kids like:

KM 4 Kids' Cancer

Pepper - London (5KM)
Paige - London (5KM)
Lauren - Mount Brydges (20KM)
Breanna - Ingersoll (40KM)
Olivia - Burgessville (60KM)
Dezi - Waterloo (115KM)
Seth - Thunder Bay (1,541KM)

STEP TWO: TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY

  • Take a few minutes to customize your fundraising page. Make it personal, tell people about yourself, post a cool photo. If you have a story that connects you to Children's Hospital, this is the perfect place to share it!

  • We want everyone to know the impact you are making on kids with cancer at Children’s Hospital! Tell your friends, family and neighbours that you are walking, running or biking to raise money and ask them to donate to your personal fundraising page to help you reach your goal! Or encourage them to participate as well!

STEP THREE: JOIN OUR STRAVA COMMUNITY

  • Our free Strava community is a great place to keep track of your kilometres and share them with other participants.

  • Get set up and join our community now so you are ready for when the challenge starts!

  • There will be prizes for our Strava participants (such as most kilometres walked).

STEP FOUR: GET MOVING!

  • Walk, run or bike during the month of September (don’t forget to track on Strava to win awesome prizes!)

  • Make sure to take photos and videos, post them on your social feeds with #kms4kidscancer and tag @CHFHope. We will be featuring participants throughout the week.
