***Neil was medically withdrawn from the 2021 race after nine hours of running and will be attempting it again this year. Thank you for your support!***
In 2017, Neil McKay ran 132 km during a 24 hour race and raised $8,316.75 for Children’s Health Foundation.
Neil runs in honour of his late son Jacob, his daughters Hadley and Eleni, and for all of the children and families who benefit from the support of Children’s Hospital.
In August 2021, Neil is embarking on an even bigger challenge; to run 100 miles/160 km at the Foxtail Hundred Rail Trail Race in order to raise $12,000 for Children’s.
Neil will have 30 hours to complete this challenge. In 2019, only 57% of participants were able to complete 100 miles.
